FAQs
How can we see the movie?
Check our Events page for film festival screenings and fundraising events. More cities and dates are being added, so we strongly recommend signing up on the email list or follow on social media @25CatsFromQatar

Why is the movie not streaming?
Our independent movie is not distributed yet. It is currently competing in film festivals around the country, so we do not have plans for streaming for at least a year. We hope you can support in-person screenings when you can. And we will notify our email list when there is a virtual event opportunity. Many of our events benefit local cat rescue groups, which is something we can't offer once it is available online or streaming.
Why do cats in Qatar need help when our cats in the US need help?
Cats all over the world need help. While our film is a deep dive into one small part of the world, it is a calling for help for all cats. We believe in working and learning together in facing this very serious global problem of cat overpopulation. Cat rescuers in all parts of the world have the shared experience of being invisible in their communities and all deserve our compassion and respect.
Is the movie appropriate for children?
This film is not rated. There is one mildly bad word, and scenes of sick cats. We recommend for children ages 14 and up. (Unless you have an extremely mature child.)
Is the movie too sad? I'm sensitive.
Us too! We tested this film with audiences and when surveyed, no one felt it was too graphic to watch. So although there are troubling images of sick cats, we would not want to put anything out there that is too much for cat lovers to bear.
My cat is from Qatar. Is my cat in the movie?
The cats in the film are from the Summer 2023 rescue mission. Your cat's experience was probably very similar!
